So I went to the movies yesterday for the first time since Batman: The Dark Knight came out.

And what did I go to see?

Role Models.

Now I'm not usually one for the whole "Formulaic comedy" with foul language, but I went for an entirely different reason than to see a little kid curse like a sailor and two adults learn a 'valuable life lesson' through comedy.

I went for the LARP.

LARP. Live Action Role Playing. I have a few friends who do it. So I know enough about it to maybe check it out myself someday. But MAN! It was in a mainstream movie?!?!?

That was just too exciting to pass up!

The movie was about 40% LARP, which was great for meeeee. I'd totally get the movie when it comes out just to skip the rest of it and watch the LARP parts over and over and over.

Nick: The only good thing about that movie was when Nicholas Cage took off his shirt!

Thanks! What year are you? Do you think you'll be looking at Pratt for college?

OHMAIGA! COLLEGE?!
:icondifficile:
You're welcome. :)
I am a senior in high school, and Pratt is my #1 choice. I'm just so nervous about my portfolio; I'm a photographer. I'm going to portfolio day and maybe a private meeting soon...

Don't stress too much. It looks like you've cot a really good handle on portraiture from your gallery. Just make sure that you have a wide variety in your folio to complement the portraiture (i.e. landscape).

Most importantly, make sure you are passionate about every piece that makes it into your folio. They will know if you're putting something in just because.

Thanks a lot... this account isn't really my photography one, I have another... But I rarely update it nowadays. Thank you again for your help, and have a great year at Pratt.
